With the re-launch of Pervasent in 2008 to focus on iPhone application development, Nicklas Dalton Pernblad and Jess Taylor joined Stuart Williams, one of Pervasent’s original founders, as principals and founders of a new organization dedicated to the creation of truly sophisticated and useful wireless applications.
With each principal having over 20 years of IT consulting experience, we have direct experience managing and designing complex mission-critical projects that require high availability and high transaction volumes. As a company, we value creativity, integrity and common sense. We demand a high standard of work quality from ourselves and as such only employ the very best engineers to work on our projects.
Stuart Williams - CEO
For Stuart, Pervasent is the culmination of his many years of interest and thinking about mobile computing that began with the pioneering pen and tablet-based platforms of the early 1990s. Prior to focusing on iPhone software development, Stuart worked with a number of early innovators to deploy systems to enable e-commerce and deliver music through cell phone carrier networks.
With over twenty years experience as an entrepreneur, application architect and software executive, Stuart is a specialist in gathering business requirements and translating them into applications that return real-world results. In addition to his work with mobile applications, Stuart has developed complex database and Internet applications for both large organizations and start-ups such as Wells Fargo, the Department of Energy and BabyCenter.com.
Stuart received his degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
Jess Taylor – President
Jess honed his business consulting and leadership skills working with leading consulting firms such as Proxicom and the Blackstone Technology Group. Acting in a range of capacities, Jess delivered highly available, mission-critical applications for Pacific Gas and Electric and numerous e-commerce solutions for European companies.
Jess was a member of the founding management team for an Italian-based Internet consultancy, a result of an Ericsson/Proxicom joint venture. It was in Rome in 1999 that Jess first developed his passion for "everything wireless.” On his return from Rome, Jess became a founding manager of Proxicom's multi-channel group, focused on creating business solutions using emerging mobile technologies.
Jess earned his MBA from the University of Southern California and an MS and BA in Geophysics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and Berkeley.
