Documents are Arranged to Suit Your Business

“Portfolios” in Persuasion allow you to organize your sales materials in the way that best fits your organization, e.g. by document type, product line or region. 

Individual cover styles can be used to differentiate the content of each portfolio. Notes can be added to covers to call attention to changes in a portfolio’s content. Custom covers can be incorporated to reflect your organization’s unique branding.

A Lockbox Protects Your Proprietary Documents

Persuasion can be used to safely distribute sensitive information such as price lists and service bulletins. Materials are downloaded from SharePoint through secure channels, such as your company VPN. The SharePoint application can be hosted on your own secure server so documents stay in-house.

A lockbox system requires users to log into Persuasion to access documents on the iPad. Escalating security features are triggered by invalid login attempts. Outdated documents are automatically removed from iPads, limiting their potential exposure.

Navigate and Open Documents with a Tap of a Finger

Contents of a portfolio can be viewed in “matrix” and “list” views. Sales reps navigate from one document to the next with a finger tap. Thumbnail images in matrix view help sales reps quickly locate the documents they need.

Tapping on a thumbnail opens standard Apple, Office and PDF documents for viewing in Persuasion. Proprietary caching techniques provide best-in-class performance when paging through content. A tap and hold opens documents for editing in external apps, such as Keynote.

Make a Note of It

Persuasion provides integrated pen, highlighter and note tools for annotating PDF documents. Sales reps can circle prices, highlight features and jot down special requirements during presentations. Pen and highlighter colors can be selected on-the-fly to color-code mark-ups. An annotation navigator makes it easy to delete or find any annotation.

Annotated documents can be emailed to customers directly from Persuasion. Annotations are preserved in native PDF format and can be turned off and on in standard PDF readers.

Videos Look Great on the iPad

Persuasion displays videos as well as static documents. During presentations, sales reps can seamlessly transition between slideshows, videos, spreadsheets and PDF documents - all within Persuasion. No need to open and swap between multiple applications.

With its high resolution display and wide viewing angles, the iPad is an exceptional device for sharing videos and other documents with a small group. Connect your iPad to a projector or HDTV and you're ready to present to the entire room.

Easily manage documents with SharePoint®

Getting the latest information to sales and service reps is a challenge for most organizations. Old and superseded datasheets, price lists and bulletins fill up laptop hard drives. Information for new products never seems available.

Persuasion provides a customized Microsoft SharePoint® interface that makes it easy for marketing and support staff to organize “portfolios” of documents to send to sales reps. Fine-grain control is provided for specifying who should receive documents and when documents should be downloaded or removed.

The SharePoint application can be deployed on your own SharePoint server or hosted on a service such as Office 365 (coming soon). It’s up to you.

In the Hallway or Conference Room

The iPad is the ideal device for ad-hoc, in-the-hallway meetings with customers. No waiting for a laptop to wake up or balancing it in one hand while clicking through folders. A tap on their iPad and sales reps are ready to go.

Persuasion provides a polished and responsive presentation experience. Sales reps navigate to documents with one or two taps of a finger. An enhanced PDF reader lets users swipe through the largest documents without delay.

Videos and documents in standard formats can be viewed in Persuasion or opened in applications such as Keynote on the iPad. Called into the conference room? Connect the iPad to a projector or HDTV and you’re ready to make a presentation.

A set of intuitive pen, highlighter and text tools let sales reps quickly underscore key features and add sticky notes to PDF documents. An “annotation navigator” lets sales reps find that note "they knew they made somewhere" with a couple of taps.
